The NNY – Fort Drum Chapter of the AUSA in partnership with Fort Drum Army Family Team Building annually presents an informative, fun filled half day seminar on “This is a Soldier 101.” It is an interactive presentation that will help the attendees to be more informed about Soldiers and their families. Seminar content next includes:
- The Chain of Command: An orientation on the military chain of command through the explanation of rank, the various branches of the Army, and the Army’s organizational structure.
- Expectations and Impact of the Mission on Family Life: Explores expectations family members have of the Army and the impact of the Army mission on family life.
- Family Readiness Groups and the Deployment Cycle: Describes the structure of Family Readiness Groups (FRGs) how an FRG assist Family Members during deployments.
It is a great way to thank our corporate membership and Adopt a 10th Mt. Platoon sponsors. Recommended for anyone who provides goods and services to the military.
A Certificate of completion is provided to all attendees.
